Mushrooms are fascinating to look at.  Their shapes, colors and textures are so widespread and enduring. They’re the apples of mycelium, casting their spores out into the world from such unique forms. There seemed to be an great explosion of mushrooms this year. Many of these pictures were taken this spring and summer and others were taken over the past couple of years walking in the woods.
